Membership in the ISMC Volunteer Auxiliary is open to those wishing to donate their time and talents in helping others.  Auxiliary members include, seniors, retirees, college students, business professionals, civic group members, young adults and teens.

After an application process including a thorough orientation in fire safety, emergency procedures, department policies and procedures and immunization screening, applicants are matched to service areas according to time availability, interest, and openings.  Volunteers serve in over thirty service areas including:
