Remzi Bag, M.D.

Remzi Bag, M.D., FCCP, is the chief of lung transplant and pulmonary hypertension division at the Nazih Zuhdi Transplant Institute at INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center. Prior to joining NZTI, he served as the director of lung transplant programs at The Methodist Hospital and St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, both affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He later was chairman of medicine, chief of pulmonary and critical care medicine at Anadolu Health Center affiliated with Johns Hopkins in Istanbul.

Dr. Bag earned his medical degree at the Gulhane School of Medicine in Turkey, and completed Internal Medicine residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY. After finishing his pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, he remained as the faculty at the section of pulmonary and critical care medicine at Baylor and worked with advanced lung diseases, pulmonary hypertension and lung transplant programs.

Dr. Bag is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine.
