Mario Coleman, M.D. grew up in Guthrie and attended Langston University where he graduated with distinction. He obtained a Masters degree in Public Health from Columbia University in New York and was involved in clinical research at the New York Neurological Institute for several years prior to pursuing a career in medicine. It was there that he first recognized his interest in Neurology. He returned to Oklahoma to attend medical school at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He soon discovered that he also had a keen interest in pediatrics and care for children with special needs. He completed residency training in Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Coleman completed his adult and child Neurology training at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital. He is very happy to be back in Oklahoma helping provide needed care and expertise for children with neurological diseases. He lives in the greater Oklahoma City area with his wife and four children.
Jennifer Norman, M.D. is a board certified Pediatric Neurologist. She is a native Oklahoman, growing up in Oklahoma City. She attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. She then went on to the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. It was during a medical school elective in subspecialty pediatrics that she first realized that she could combine her fascination with the inner workings of the nervous system and her love of pediatric medicine. She went on to complete her Pediatrics training at OU Medical Center Children’s Hospital before moving to Houston to complete her subspecialty training with Baylor College of Medicine, at the prestigious Texas Children’s Hospital. She is thrilled to be back in her home state and providing neurological care to the children of Oklahoma. She is married and is the proud mother of two children.
