Class Schedules and Descriptions

Aerobics: INTEGRIS PACER Fitness Center offers aerobic classes to meet the needs of each member's level of fitness. Each aerobics room contains dual balance bars, mirrored walls, hand and ankle weights, resistance bands, steps and floor mats. All classes are 50 minutes in length unless otherwise indicated.

Classes are included in the fitness center membership.

Indoor Cycling: Cycling classes are great workouts that test your endurance, cardiovascular system and strength. Through a series of aerobic and anaerobic drills, these classes work the heart and lungs and strengthen the lower body as well as abdominal muscles.

Unlike most traditional aerobics classes, in which participants need to be at comparable fitness levels, indoor cycling classes allow someone in great shape to ride next to someone who is just starting an exercise program. Each individual is responsible for the intensity of his or her own workout. Bikers can modify their cycling resistance and pace according to their level of fitness.

There are no fancy steps to learn and, even if you don't know how to ride a bicycle, you can enjoy the class because there is no balancing involved. As long as you keep pedaling you will maintain the aerobic benefits.

If you are looking for a good way to burn fat and calories, but are tired of traditional aerobics, stair machines and treadmills, a cycling class might put a new spin on things.

Indoor Cycling classes are included in the fitness center membership.

Strength Training: INTEGRIS PACER Fitness Center offers Strength Training classes five days a week. The classes are free to members and are conducted by ACSM certified instructors.

Strength Training classes are held with a small group, eight people maximum. The group is taught how to use the exercise equipment properly as well as alternative exercises to strengthen different muscle groups.

Strength Training classes are included in the fitness center membership.

Better Backs: Learn correct posture, body alignment, breathing, abdominal strengthening and stretching (exercise balls and straps may be used).

Yoga: Mind and body connect through a series of basic yoga positions and breathing techniques. Focus is placed on strength, balance, concentration, flexibility and relaxation techniques.

Pilates: A form of movement, based on the work of Joseph Pilate, will strengthen and stretch core muscles to improve posture.

Better Backs, Yoga and Pilates classes are included in the fitness center membership
