Grief Recovery


Grief is the normal and natural response to loss. If you have suffered the loss of a loved one through death, on-going grief recovery support is available through Hospice of Oklahoma County.

 

About the Program

The six-week program is conducted by a certified grief recovery specialist who provides a step-by-step approach for those who wish to resolve their loss issues and move beyond their grief to a richer quality of life. Private counseling is also available.

 

Symptoms of Grief

If you or a family member are experiencing any of the following symptoms, contact Hospice of Oklahoma County's grief recovery program for support.

  • Difficulty sleeping

  • Loss of appetite

  • Feelings of guilt or regret

  • Lack of concentration

  • Mood changes

  • Numbness

  • Tears
