Coronary Care Unit 8 East
Welcome to 8 East at INTEGRIS Heart Hospital, a 46 — bed coronary care unit. Our nursing teams, all trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), care for patients following procedures such as cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker insertion or patients diagnosed with congestive heart failure (CHF) or myocardial infarction (MI). On 8 East, patients receive special care and monitoring immediately following cardiac procedures or interventions. Patients staying on 8 East average short hospitalization stays of just over three days.
