Care for Children and Adolescents
Care programs for children and adolescents are based at INTEGRIS Mental Health Center - Spencer. The campus is situated on a scenic 20-acre parcel of land 10 minutes away from downtown Oklahoma City. The center includes living units, medical examination and treatment rooms, administrative and clinical offices and a dining area. A gymnasium, which children and adolescents use both for formal therapy and casual recreation, is used for basketball, volleyball and other activities, all under the direction of a certified recreational therapist. A challenge course with both low and high elements helps young people develop self-esteem, trust, and problem-solving, teamwork, leadership and decision-making skills.

Peace of Mind
A small, tree-lined lake with an encircling walking trail contributes to a pleasant, peaceful feel. The setting, staff and programs work together to provide a safe and structured environment in which children and adolescents may deal with emotional and mental health issues and achieve emotional, mental, physical, educational and social well-being. |
