INTEGRIS Mental Health Center - Spencer offers a number of treatment options for children and their families. All therapies are geared toward the specific needs of the child and are under the direction of a child psychiatrist and multi-disciplinary team of masters or doctoral level clinicians, registered and licensed practical nurses and qualified mental health professionals.

The main components of treatment include family therapy, individual therapy, group therapy, activity therapy and social skills development. Children learn effective coping strategies, expression of feelings, age-appropriate communication, cooperation and social and peer relations skills. Children spend a portion of each day in an on-site school, taught by teachers from the Oklahoma City Public Schools.

The specific needs of children who are survivors of sexual abuse or who have parents with chemical dependency issues are addressed at all levels of care at INTEGRIS Mental Health Center - Spencer. Therapy is provided by clinicians with extensive experience helping young people face these issues in healthy ways.
