At INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center, we specialize in treating hip and knee pain. Our mission is to improve the health of the people and communities we serve.

In keeping with that mission, we have specially trained Orthopaedic staff ready to serve you. Part of that service is our new Joint Replacement Center. Located on the sixth floor of INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center, the Joint Replacement Center is a 13 bed unit designed with the patient and family in mind.

There is a dedicated Program Coordinator who will be with you from start to finish; keeping you informed every step of the way. Included in the program are a pre-op education class, standardized hospital care, and discharge planning. Patients will have the opportunity to share meals and participate in Physical Therapy together. Special amenities are also provided to create a relaxed and less stressful atmosphere. A family member is encouraged to participate in your care. As a group, you and your family, can encourage and support one another during your stay.

Watch for our upcoming seminars on hip and knee pain. These will be offered bi-monthly. Included in these seminars are:

• The anatomy of the hip and knee
• Causes and symptoms of hip and knee pain
• Treatments of hip and knee pain

By attending one of our seminars, you will gain knowledge about hip and knee pain and appropriate treatments. During the seminars you will have the opportunity to set an appointment enabling you to visit with one of our Orthopaedic specialists within one to two weeks.
