Joint Camp

Many of our patients have referred to the INTEGRIS Joint Replacement Center as “Joint Camp”. The center offers a unique “camp” concept that brings a wellness approach to total joint replacement. Patients, better known as campers, participate in a group setting for rehabilitation exercises, meals and activities and are encouraged to wear casual clothing throughout their stay.

Features of the “Joint Camp” program include:

  • Nurses and therapists who specialize in the care of joint patients
  • Private rooms
  • Emphasis on group activities as well as individual care
  • Family and friends educated to participate as “coaches” in the recovery process
  • Group lunches with your "coach" (meals provided for coach)
  • A Program Coordinator who follows you every step of the way
  • A comprehensive patient guide for you to follow from six weeks pre-op until three months post-op and beyond
  • Coordinated after-care program
  • Hairdresser appointment and gourmet meal the night before camp graduation
  • Graduation celebration
