Habilitation Services

The motivation of the individual, family and friends as well as the commitment to full-time use of the implant, keeping follow-up appointments, appropriate care and maintenance of the equipment and the development of listening skills to everyday situations are key factors in the successful use of an implant. The implant recipient, and/or the parents of the recipient, must show full support and help in the rehabilitation/habilitation process. As noted before, this is an ongoing lifetime commitment.
