First Step – Call us!
Most appointments are employees or family members calling our main number, 405-947-2688 or 800-677-2729, and after completing a short intake procedure (5-8 minutes), they schedule their appointment with a clinician. For those needing legal or financial services, while the numbers are the same, they have the option of a phone appointment with the professional.
Does it cost anything?
No. CAP is a benefit paid for by your employer. Employees and dependents of the contracted company attend at no cost. While CAP is not considered part of your health insurance coverage, it is a benefit provided by your employer.
Will anyone know if I call and make an appointment?
No. Not from us. We provide no personal data to companies that in any way could reveal your attendance. We know that our service is only as good as our level of confidentiality and we take our client’s privacy very seriously.
Can I be required to use the Corporate Assistance Program?
It depends on your company. For about half of our contracted companies, we accommodate Supervisor Assisted Referrals or Mandatory Referrals. This type of referral is usually part of a disciplinary action, e.g. tardiness, decline in productivity, drug or alcohol abuse. We still view ourselves as serving the employee and helping him or her reach their goals for the self-improvement required to maintain their employment.
24 Hour Help-line
Problems are not confined to 5 days a week! Crisis can happen anytime day or night so we offer access to a counselor 24hours a day, 7 days a week. Just call our local or 1-800 number and let them know you need to talk to someone. You will be called back immediately by our counselor on-call.
