Choosing a Treatment Facility


Choosing a place to receive cancer treatment and the people who deliver that care can feel like a daunting decision. It may seem difficult to discern the most important qualities in a health care provider.  Remembering that the choice is ultimately up to you, it is important to be informed about a cancer centers qualifications as well as feeling comfortable with who helps you fight against cancer and supports you through the journey. 

That is why we have chosen to provide you with a tools developed by both internal and external groups like the American Cancer Society along to help you decide and answer the questions you may have about where you receive treatment.

The tool we have provided is our response to questions you may have about the difference in care at the INTEGRIS Cancer Institute of Oklahoma.  These questions are based on our campus principles principles that all of our employees and partners commit to focus on delivering 

                    THE MOST CHALLENGING HEALING.

 Will you keep me informed?  Who will help me understand all of this?
 How long is the wait list?  Where do I go for all my tests?
 Will I have options for treatment?  Will all my doctors talk to each other?
 Will I be able to participate in clinical trials?  Who will help my family and me cope with these changes?
