Lynda Vanhorn,  Administrative Director

Lynda Vanhorn serves as the Administrative Director of Clinical Operations for the INTEGRIS Cancer Institute of Oklahoma.  Her role covers all clinical services including radiation oncology, medical oncology, infusion therapy, pharmacy, lab services and various Wellness Center services.  Lynda plays an integral role in coordinating the clinical exchange between the Institute and ProCure Proton Treatment Centers, helping to reaffirm the commitment to a single patient experience across all services on the campus.

Lynda joins the INTEGRIS Cancer Institute of Oklahoma team with over 20 years of oncology specific experience that has so purposefully kept what is really important in life at her forefront.  Reflecting over her new role with the Institute Lynda shares,

“…at the [Institute], to have the opportunity to be apart of something that can positively effect as many patients as we will be able to serve is still just an unbelievable dream! To be apart of a team that is creating a incredible [collection] of services that will help people at their darkest moments and to able to provide some light, a twilight, makes you feel the real purpose of life. I want the patients to truly feel we are all around them, that they are our only concern and our only patient—each team member taking every step in the name of our patients…”

As a native Oklahoman, Lynda received her Bachelor of Science degree in Radiation Therapy from the University of Oklahoma.  Lynda is originally from Lone Wolf, Oklahoma—a place that in her words “has sunsets that put the country to shame”.  Currently, Lynda lives in Oklahoma City with her husband and her two high-spirited and beautiful daughters.
