Central Oklahoma Cancer Center Volunteers

Cancer center volunteers are needed to provide service within the Central Oklahoma Cancer Center to assist individuals experiencing cancer, their families and friends, as well as oncology staff members. These special volunteers are also members of the INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center Auxiliary.

What We Do and Why We Need You

Cancer center volunteers serve in the following ways:

  • Cancer center information desk
  • CancerCheck screening clinic
  • Special events

Why We Need You:

While the 10,000,000 survivors of cancer in the United States show us that we are winning the fight against cancer, there is still much to do.

Our need is for people who want to help in this fight on a personal level. People who can give some of their time and talents to assist those living with cancer.

Skills/Personalities

A variety of skills and personalities are needed. Introverts, extroverts, those with a little time to give, and those with much time to give.

Our Mission

Cancer center volunteers support the mission of the Central Oklahoma Cancer Center and INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center by providing assistance and support to persons experiencing cancer and their families through the various programs of the cancer center.
