Unless otherwise noted, all programs are held in the library of the Troy and Dollie Smith Cancer Center on the first floor of Building D (3366 NW Expressway) and information can be obtained by calling 943-HOPE (4673). Our library is also a resource room with material available for loan, and is open to the public during regular office hours.
Blood Cancer Family Support Group – For people diagnosed with lymphoma, multiple myeloma, leukemia and other blood-related cancers. They meet the second Tuesday of each month at Mercy Hosp. Phone Sherry Martin at 943-8888 for more information.
CancerCheck - An early detection/screening program that provides free screenings for breast, colorectal, skin, oral and prostate cancers. Reservations are required. Call 951-2277 for further information.
Cancer Research – The INTEGRIS Cancer Institute of Oklahoma is a leader in community treatment and cancer prevention studies. Our certified clinical research professionals work hand in hand with INTEGRIS' medical and radiation therapy doctors to provide access to the latest treatment and prevention research studies. Cancer Support for Spanish Speaking Persons – Held monthly at the INTEGRIS Medical Office Building, 4200 S. Douglas, Suite 114. Call Maria Aymat at 636-7560 for more information.
Creative/Expressive Arts Workshop – Offered at varying times and dates, designed to use the healing powers of creative expression. Reservations required (call 949-3775). No art experience necessary; small materials fee may apply.
Dare to Care Yoga Classes – Offered free to persons affected by cancer and held at INTEGRIS Pacer Fitness Center. Reservations required. Please call 949-3775 to reserve your space.

Family Cancer Risk Program - This program provides an individualized risk assessment based upon personal and family history, as well as a personal plan for cancer prevention and/or risk reduction. If you or a family member has been diagnosed with cancer and you have concerns about your personal or family risk, call Glenda Bell, MS, ARNP at 949-3870 or Sharon Nall, MS, APRN-C at 949-2691.
Individual Counseling – For people affected by cancer and their families. Free counseling provided by board certified Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor. Please call 949-3775 to schedule an appointment.
Journaling Group – For persons affected by cancer, whether a beginner or experienced at journaling. Topics vary each month and are offered on the first Saturday of each month from 9:30 -11:30 a.m. Call 949-3775 for more information.
Look Good…Feel Better – Trained volunteer cosmetologists teach women in active treatment how to cope with skin changes and hair loss using cosmetics and skin care products donated by the cosmetic industry. Free cosmetic kits are provided to each participant. Friends and family may attend. The program is free of charge, but reservations are required. Call 949-3394 for program dates and times.
“Lunch Bunch” Breast Cancer Support Group – An educational and supportive group for women diagnosed with breast cancer. The free lunch is provided by Santa Fe Cattle Co., but reservations are required. Call Sharon Nall, MS, APRN-C at 951-2691 for more information.
The Oklahoma Brain Tumor Foundation -- Meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Hometown Buffet on the NW Expressway. Call Lisa Obey for further information at 843-4673.
Patient Navigation -- A service lending resources, education, and support to patients and families at the time of a new breast cancer diagnosis. Contact Sharon Nall, MS, APRN-C at 951-2691 for assistance.
Reach to Recovery – A one-on-one support program for women and men facing or living with breast cancer. Volunteers are breast cancer survivors trained by the American Cancer Society. Contact Sharon Nall, MS, APRN-C at 951-2691.

Troy and Dollie Smith Cancer Center Van – Free transportation to and from appointments for persons who are receiving chemotherapy or radiation treatments at INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center. Reservations are required with at least a 24-hour notice. Please call 951-2438.
Us Too! Prostate Cancer Education and Support – For men with prostate cancer and their support persons. Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:00 -7:30 p.m. Contact Susan Ingham, LSW at 949-3763 for more information.
Wellness Retreat – For people affected by cancer and their support persons. A day-long retreat held annually in the fall, at a local camp. The focus is on combining healing information and programs, in a nurturing and natural setting. Call 949-3154 for more information.
Wings of Hope/Stitching for Sanity – Meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 12:30 -2:30 p.m. The stitching group makes afghans and lap robes for patients in treatment. The Wings of Hope create origami and supportive cards for newly diagnosed patients. Call 949-3775 for more information.
