The INTEGRIS Oncology Services research team works hand in hand with INTEGRIS surgeons, as well as medical and radiation oncologists to provide ongoing community access to current nationwide clinical trials in cancer treatment and prevention. INTEGRIS Oncology is honored to be a treatment and prevention site for the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP), a prevention site for the Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG), a member of the American College of Surgeons research group (ACOSOG), and a member of the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG). We are participating in breast and prostate cancer prevention trials, as well as many treatment trials. Colon cancer prevention trials will be opened in the future.
Risk Assessment is offered for individuals and families who may have an increased cancer risk. An individual plan for risk reduction can be developed based on personal risk. The most common types of inheritable cancer are breast, ovarian, endometrial, and colon. Genetic testing is available and may be appropriate for some individuals.
