At one time, the word “cancer” was only whispered. A diagnosis of cancer, many people thought, was a death sentence. But today, with early detection and advanced cancer treatments and programs to help patients cope, many patients survive cancer and enjoy happy, healthy lives. At INTEGRIS Health, we offer our patients some of the most advanced cancer detection and treatments available, along with an array of social services to heal the whole person.

At INTEGRIS Troy & Dollie Smith Cancer Center, we practice the most challenging healing. Our oncology programs include board-certified medical and radiation oncologists, certified oncology nurses, medical assistants, laboratory technicians, pharmacists, radiation therapists, physicists, dosimetrists, oncology social workers and counselors.

Our cancer centers offer comprehensive cancer care, including a genetic testing program to help determine your risk for cancer, based on family history, while our breast centers and other cancer screening programs can detect cancers in their earliest stages.

We offer chemotherapy and intensity modulated radiation therapy, one of the most advanced radiation treatments available. Our pain management service provides guidance and education to manage pain that sometimes occurs during the phases of cancer and its treatment.

Programs like art therapy, one-on-one counseling, support groups and workshops help patients and their families with the emotional and social challenges of dealing with cancer.

INTEGRIS Oncology Services is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals (JCAHO) and the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (ACOS).

We also are members of the American Hospital Association (AHA) and the Volunteer Hospitals of America (VHA). In addition, we participate in ongoing research at both cancer centers.
