Lorri Carter, RD, LD, CDE graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Dietetics in 1985. She has been a Certified Diabetes Educator since 1987 specializing in diabetes education and management. She also has ten years experience as a renal dietitian. She currently works for ediba Diabetes Center of Excellence in program development and as a consultant to health care institutions, specializing in inpatient glycemia management programs and outpatient diabetes education programs. Ms. Carter has served as president of Western Oklahoma Diabetes Educators and Oklahoma Council on Renal Nutrition and has been active in dietetics and diabetes professional organizations.
