During Hospitalization

The care of the burn patient is performed through a team effort. During the course of burn recovery, the patient will be working with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, dieticians, social workers, respiratory therapists, and psychiatrists. The team, which includes the patient and family, work together to help the patient recover physically and emotionally in order to return home.
