Due to patient comments, the following changes have been made at INTEGRIS Canadian Valley Regional Hospital:

• Visiting hours for ICU patients have increased in order to allow family members to be more involved in the patient care.
• A system has been implemented in which radiology patients are informed of extended waits and have the option of rescheduling the procedure or continue to wait.
• Parents are now invited to be with their child during x-ray procedures. This allows the child to have a greater sense of security and comfort. 
• Dry erase boards have been placed in each patient room that are updated each shift to keep the patient informed of the attending nurse, physician, the patient room and phone numbers for the nurses station and for outside calls.
