INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center is committed to patient satisfaction. We have patient satisfaction teams that continually monitor patient surveys and comments. Behavioral standards have been created with our patients in mind.

We celebrate successes throughout the organization and have special monthly recognition for those nursing units that rank the highest in specific survey areas.   

Due to patient comments, the following changes have been made at INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center:

• Engineering has "huddles" each morning to go over the daily activities, which include reading patient comments and dispatching a technician to correct any problems identified.
• The Emergency Department added a second triage tech, during high volume times, to decrease patient's wait times.
• The Radiology Department realizes that sometimes it can be confusing to patients finding their way from Radiology to the Registration area or exit doors. Therefore, all Radiology staff now walk patients to their destination.
• Some X-ray tests require preparation instructions which aren't always communicated to patients from their doctor's office. Therefore, the Radiology Department is calling as many of their patients as possible to remind patients of their appointment and provide arrival and prep instructions as well as answering any questions that the patient may have regarding their study.
