Joy was a nurse I had and she took the time just to talk to me, it really felt like she cared. Nora was great too. Mary Rottler was my case manager, I surely appreciated her taking the time to sit and talk with me. I really liked her!"
"There is a nurse on the 10th floor, her name is Mary. She is an angel. She treated me with tender loving care. Mary is the best nurse I have ever had. You really need to praise her. There is also an aide named Alan and he treated me with the most respect. Always there when I needed him. You are really lucky to have them both. They are an asset to your hospital."

But, on the better end, he was given the psychiatric and neurological help that I'd hoped for. He seems a lot calmer and seems to be able to focus on things for longer periods of time. I'm so grateful that you have wonderful doctors and nurses there. They do God's work! Hopefully the meds will allow him to focus on the new things that are about to come up in his life and he can then benefit like I'm praying for. Your nurses were so helpful and very nice to me on the phone when I'd call and they answered all my questions with great knowledge and concern. "Due to bad treatment several, several years ago this hospital was not our choice to come to. What a change!! We rate this stay and this hospital as #1 now!! The care my mother received was second to none. The friendliness and courtesy shown by all staff members from custodians up was flawless. The patience and time taken for all of our questions and needs to help us (the whole family) was unbelievable. Mom' s birthday celebrated in ICU. The nurses gave her a card, balloons, and special visits from them that mom will never forget. We have large family and all were treated special and visited mom on her birthday all felt that nurses were family also. Even though all staff was great I would like to name a few special ones - aide William Hoffman, Nurses - Kerri Matlock and Kim Brewer and her favorite Angie Buihner. Mom really appreciated Angie's visit to a different floor on her own time after mom left ICU. Angie we feel went beyond her normal duties and we really appreciate it. She became a friend and brought happiness to mom as well as family members she explained things and took time. No question asked was a bother, in fact, we feel sometimes we asked too many, but Angie didn't even seem to mind. Again all were great nurses. May God bless and protect all of you!"

I'm a daily walker and every day the drive and walkways were cleared so that we could walk into INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center without any trouble. The people in the maintenance department have done a wonderful job of clearing off the ice. "I had surgery at your hospital twice. I just want to express my heart felt thank yous from my family also. I couldn't ask for any other hospital to perform the surgery procedures I've had. Your staff was wonderful on both occasions. I stayed three days on the 10th floor; the nurses have the hearts and hands of angels. I didn't get to write a letter back then, so I got a second opportunity to do so. The second surgery gave me the chance to write this letter to you to let you know. That they treated my family - my mother, sister, children and husband like their family. I am so grateful for that. It makes me want to continue to use your hospital in the future. "As a patient suffering from a number of chronic diseases, enduring medical testing is a fact of life. Most often, I am not inclined to comment, but to just to go on. However, the care provided by your staff, Scott Dean and Laura was outstanding!! I don't know if this letter will be shared with them, used in their evaluations or what, but they deserve commendation. When scheduled time came, there was an elderly gentleman before me who was having a difficult time. They took great pains with him for his problems and also kept me informed as to when we could start. As they were preparing me for the MRI, everything they did was to ensure my comfort and to put me at ease. They had to change the cradle for the head, the mask and the table to lie on so that it would be a comfortable fit for me. I could not have asked for better care and attention. Since they were aware that I sometimes have problems with the confines of MRI, they were constantly checking to make sure that I was comfortable and could proceed. I feel these three employees are worthy of commendation. Their job is a calling for them, not just a paycheck. Please tell them thank you again for me."
"I am writing to you reference you excellent choice and employment of employees at the Southwest Medical Center. Please rest assured every experience has been more than wonderful, and that is why I feel so compelled to write to you about these wonderful individuals! First let me tell you about Cliff Bradford, one of the radiology oncologists who escorts me to my treatment every morning! He is so polite with a kind greeting every morning before extending his arm for balance for the walk back to the treatment room. Even my friends how kind he is! Tammy Phillips is another one of you staff par excellence!!! She is always so kind and has a smile on her face every morning! I doubt she ever has a bad day, and if she did, no one would know it. Before you know it - the treatment is over, and I'm already looking forward to seeing her again the next day. Now, how many other departments do you think people feel that way! Especially in radiation!! Loree Woods, Yvonne Evans and Cathi Valentine must also be mentioned! I'm sure I have missed a few names, but the department as a whole should be commended! They all have been great! They make the INTEGRIS system function and reflect the true health "care" system that you have inspired, but at least I can reenforce some of that good will that is representative in so many of the hard working individuals that believe in the work that they are doing and believe that they do make a difference. The have made a difference in my life and I would like to make sure someone is aware of this. Jana Taylor, LCWS is definitely your local miracle worker! She is part fire jumper and always ready to put out the flames that are popping up everywhere! Thank you for employing such a great asset!! Kudos and more kudos for all she does. She even called me at home on the weekend because I was afraid I had lost my glasses. Like I said, a miracle worker!!! Thank you for your time and attention on this manner. She looked at the monitor and then went to get help. She was amazed that a housekeeper would do that.
