Changes We've Made as a Result of Patient Comments

Due to patient comments, the following changes have been made at INTEGRIS Grove General Hospital:

Waiting rooms have been remodeled to be more inviting to patients and visitors.
Pagers have now been given to the Medical/Surgical staff to respond quicker to patient issues such as: pain medication, IV pump alarms and bed alarms. These pagers allow for better communication between staff and the unit secretaries without bothering the patient.
Dry erase boards have been installed in patient rooms. Staff use these boards to communicate the names of the nurse, aide and doctor as well as other important information the patients needs to know.
