Due to patient comments, the following changes have been made at INTEGRIS Blackwell Regional Hospital:

• We redecorated and updated our patient waiting rooms with new furniture and decor.
• We implemented an Ambassador program where a volunteer rounds patient rooms and offers assistance to patients if they need anything like beverages and helps with other requests from the patients.
• Because individual preferences on room temperature vary, individual cooling and heating units were placed in all patient rooms so the patient can have the room at their preference.
• Overhead paging was disrupting our patients in their rooms.  Phone were purchased for the nursing staff to carry so they can be contacted directly, instead of being overhead paged.
