You may contact the chaplain by calling the operator and asking that a chaplain be paged to your number. Case managers and social workers may be reached at (405) 636-7103, and the administrative supervisor may be contacted through the hospital operator.
HOME BASED CARE
Home care is a great way for you to continue your medical treatment at home. INTEGRIS Samaritan Home Care and Infusion Services partners with physicians to provide a vast array of homebased clinical care services including skilled nursing, physical, occupational and speech therapy, pharmacy, social work and home health aide services to patients in the comfort of their own home. HUMAN VALUES
The Human Values committee at INTEGRIS Southwest is made up of physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, attorneys, board members and members of the community. This committee meets regularly to discuss current health care issues. Often patients and their families are faced with end-of-life issues. The Human Values committee can be a resource. The committee members will meet with you – individually or as a group – to discuss the circumstances and legal, moral or ethical issues with you or a loved one. Confidentiality is always maintained.
ORGAN DONATION
If you wish to be an organ donor, please tell your loved ones so that your wishes are known. You may contact a chaplain to discuss donation options.
 PASTORAL CARE
The Department of Pastoral Care is honored to provide spiritual and emotional counseling and support 24 hours a day for patients, families, and visitors. Our board-certified, professional chaplains provide encouragement, spiritual guidance, grief support, and prayer, and can assist you in accessing clergy from your faith tradition. You may contact a chaplain directly by dialing (405) 636-7539 during business hours, by dialing the operator and asking for the chaplain, or by asking a member of our nursing staff to contact a chaplain for you.
We believe that healing occurs in mind, body, and spirit. If you would like to learn some relaxation techniques to enhance your healing, please contact a chaplain who can teach you simple practices, which can reduce stress and anxiety.
The chapel is located on the 1st Floor between the information desk and the guest elevators. You are welcome to use the chapel for prayer and meditation 24 hours a day, and our chaplains pray each morning for all prayer requests left in the chapel or submitted electronically online. Chaplains provide non-denominational worship services in the chapel on Sunday mornings, Christmas, and Easter at 10:00 a.m. and at INTEGRIS Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation Hospital at 11:00 a.m. Please contact our office at (405) 636-7539 for further information or requests.
