If you would like more information about the Rylyn Meacham Center, please visit their website at www.rmeachamcenter.org | |
The Rylyn Meacham Center (“RMC”) is a community based program designed to provide therapy and other management services for patients who have exhausted insurance benefits, and are not receiving services from any other source. RMC is founded on biblical principles for people who have no hope as they recover from their devastating illness or injury. A staff of volunteer medical professionals and other dedicated individuals provide a supportive environment to help those served accomplish their goals.
Services include, but are not limited to, OT, PT, speech-language pathology, prosthetic/orthotic consultation, equipment evaluation, supply and equipment issue, resource education and referral services.
Referral by a physician is required before initial evaluation.
A family member or caregivers is required to stay for all therapy sessions in order to qualify for continued participation in the program. This allows the family member or caregivers the opportunity to remain actively involved in the recovery process and also establishes a venue for ongoing follow-up, prevention, referral and access systems.
In addition, the clinic provides a “pool” of patients for educational courses and research endeavors. This creates a practical educational environment for student affiliates and staff.
There is no charge for any of the services provided at the Rylyn Meacham Center. We depend solely on individuals for funding. Our center is a non-profit charitable, tax-exempt organization. Donations are greatly appreciated and tax deductible. The center operates under the Good Samaritan Law.
