Rehabilitation - IBMC has five main programs:

• Orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation
• Neurological outpatient rehabilitation
• Hand rehabilitation
• Bright Path pediatric rehabilitation
• Lymphedema management

Our goal at the INTEGRIS Jim Thorpe Outpatient Rehabilitation - IBMC is to provide patients with a continuum of care so they may regain independence and the skills needed to obtain their optimal level of function.

This hospital-based outpatient setting provides patients the opportunity to access a full spectrum of services in one location. Patients needing outpatient rehabilitation services include those recovering from orthopedic disorders of the spine, extremities and joints or orthopedic surgery, neurological conditions both traumatic or degenerative, amputation, soft tissue injuries such as burns, and, muscular or ligament injuries and damage from cancer treatment to soft tissue for swallowing and speech.

Our multidisciplinary team of specialists include:

• Physical Therapists
• Occupational Therapists
• Speech/Language Pathologists

Therapy specialization and certification include certification for hand therapy and for lymphedema management, specialized training in spine mobilization, neuromuscular reeducation, prosthetic training and balance disorder therapy.

For our younger patients, IBMC Outpatient Rehabilitation includes a pediatric clinic staffed by specialists in pediatrics and trained in neurodevelopmental treatment techniques, sensory integration therapy, therapeutic listening, swallowing, voice, cognition and language needs.

Whether your needs are for one therapy or a combination of services, each patient receives an individualized treatment plan with the patient's goals in mind.
