The "INTRODUCTION TO NDT" course is now available on your computer. This on-line course has been designed to enhance a therapist's fundamental understanding of NDT approaches for the management of patients with hemiplegia. This course will cover principles and basic concepts of the Bobath approach to NDT. It will address the theory and science of NDT principles and teach participants problem solving skills for management strategies.

Currently, our e-learning courses are only available to INTEGRIS employees. We are working on allowing access to other individuals, hopefully by early 2009. INTEGRIS employees, please email JTEducation@integrisok.com for registration. 

Course Objectives: 

  • Identify the basic management principles of the NDT approach, related handling guidelines, concepts relative to basic components of normal movement and general areas of function.
  • Differentiate between normal and abnormal movement and identify the missing components of movement that are interfering with the patients' achievement of a higher functional level.
  • Integrate concepts related to normal movement, principles of management, general areas of function and handling strategies into management programs for improving a patient's ability with activities of daily living and other functional activities.
