1)  Understand the benefits of the HeartMate II;
2)  Understand the indications for the HeartMate II;
3)  Locate and name the peripheral equipment for the HeartMate II;
4)  Discuss variations in vital signs with HeartMate II patients;
5)  See changing power sources;
6)  See changing from primary system driver to secondary system driver;
7)  Identify what is required to bring for patient transport.
