Welcome to the INTEGRIS Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation Hospital Education web site. Our goal is to continually improve the services we provide. We believe strongly in creating programs that are based on learning needs. We also believe that continuous improvement is essential for the maturity of our programs and services. If you have any suggestions or feedback on our programs, please contact us.
You may be wondering how we decide what courses we provide each year. First of all we look at the suggestions you provide on your course evaluation sheets. We also look at what is new in the world of rehabilitation. The education advisory council then determines the topics we want to pursue for the year. Finally, we locate speakers that can present this information in an effective manner.
Continuing Education Series (CES): These are one or two hour sessions, either from 12:00 - 1:00 or 4:00 - 6:00. The CES is planned quarterly based on a theme of orthopedic, neuro, spinal cord injury and miscellaneous. Please click on the tab to the left to view the available telehealth sites.
Specialty Courses: These are half to full day courses. We plan these courses annually.
Neural Perspectives Conference: This is our annual full day conference we hold in the fall. Please check back at a later date for more information.
Online Learning: We have developed three online courses. Currently, these are only available to INTEGRIS employees. We are working on allowing access to other individuals, hopefully by early 2009.
