Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation Hospital main facility is located on the campus of Southwest Medical Center at 4219 S. Western Ave. in Oklahoma City, OK. The hospital is on the NW corner of the intersections of SW 44^th St. and S. Western Ave. An important note to be aware of is that Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation occupy the 3^rd and 6^th floors at Baptist Medical Center, 3300 NW Expressway in Oklahoma City. Baptist Medical Center is located on the SE corner of Hefner Parkway and NW Expressway in Oklahoma City, OK. Be sure to know the facility at which your family member or friend is located. There is ample parking on the north side of Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation with recreational vehicle and motor home parking provided for overnight stays.

The arrangement for overnight stays at the RV Park is coordinated through Security. Water, electrical and sewer hookups are provided at no charge as long as family members are inpatient at Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation or at Southwest Medical Center.

From 1-35 (North or South)

• Take SE 44^th St. Exit (Exit # 123B)
• Go west on SE 44^th St.(will turn into SW 44^th)
• Remain on SW 44^th St. for approximately 3 miles
• Hospital is located on the NW Corner of SW 44^th & S. Western

From I-240 (East or West)

• Take Western Ave., Exit (Exit # 2A)
• Go North on Western Ave. approximately 2 miles
• Hospital located on NW corner of SW 44^th St. & S. Western Ave.

From I-44 (West)

• Take the SW 44^th St. Exit (Exit #117B)
• Go east for approximately 2 miles
• Arrive at Southwest Medical Center between Douglas & Western
• Turn into 2^nd left after hospital-follow road to end-approx. four 4-way stops
• Hospital located to your left

From I-44 (East)

The Exit for SW 44^th St. off of I-44 is very difficult due to the immediate u-turns required to return to SW 44^th St. after exiting from the interstate. It is advised that if you are on I-44 east coming from the directions of Newcastle, Chickasha or Lawton, consider exiting onto I-240 East and follow the directions for I-240. The I-240 interchange is just north of the Oklahoma City Community College.

From I-40 (East)

• Take the Western Ave exit (Exit # 149A)
• Go south on Western Ave. approximately 2 ¼ miles
• Look for signage just after crossing Grand Blvd.
• Hospital located on the west side of the road

From I-40 (West)

• Take the Western Ave./Reno Ave. Exit (Exit 149A)
• Turn left/East on Reno (1st stoplight after exit)
• Go East on Reno to Western Ave. (1^st stoplight after getting onto Reno)
• Go South on Western Ave approximately 2 miles
• Look for signage just after crossing Grand Blvd.
• Hospital located on the west side of the road

Note: An option is to take I-44 West off of I-40 East and follow the I-44 West instructions
