Tonja Muret Band of Distinction Support Group Leader

October 12, 2006...the day I had the lap band procedure performed...marks the beginning of my new life.

My name is Tonja Muret and I lead the 'Band of Distinction' support group at INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center. Our goal for having a 'band' specific support group is to try to get down to the nitty-gritty on answering questions about this specific weight loss surgery type. We have a great time and you are assured to have a good laugh while you are there and probably make a new friend or two.

Our support group is open to anyone and everyone regardless of where you had your surgery or if you are pre-op, post-op, support person or just wanting more information about weight loss surgery. What better place to hang out than with a group of your peers!
