As a parent, you know your child better than anyone. You are an important part of your child’s health care team. You can play an active role by helping provide the staff with accurate and complete information about your child’s health, reporting any changes in his or her condition to the doctor or nurse and learning aspects that may have to be continued at home. Our staff recognize that having a hospitalized child is stressful for families. We will educate you on your child’s illness and keep your informed of your child’s status. We encourage families to seek information and to have open dialogue with your child’s doctor. Our staff is here to advocate for you and your child.
