Heart Failure Measures

INTEGRIS QualityMarshall County Medical Center Quality

INTEGRIS Marshall County Medical Center has taken several measures to improve the quality pf care our patients receive when admitted to our hospital.

The Medical and Nursing Staff have developed a protocol for Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) or most commonly known as “heart failure” so that your condition can be managed according to the most recent up-to-date studies published by the American Heart Association and Medicare.

Our Medical staff are aware of the importance of doing tests to determine the heart’s pumping function, called echocardiogram. This study indicates how well your heart functions. This information is used to determine if you need additional medications to improve your heart’s ability to pump blood throughout your body and manage your blood pressure better.

Our Medical and Nursing Staff have also designed a Discharge Instruction Sheet for you as a patient to take home with you that will help you not only keep up with future physician appointments, but to help you know your medication regime and other information to help address your condition.
