Since 1964 the Cherry Reds have been providing services to Grove General Hospital.  Responsibilities include delivering beverages to patients, families and visitors, delivering mail to departments throughout the hospital, working in Surgery, Cafeteria, Information Desk at both the Hospital and the Ambulatory Care Center, Gift Shop, Administration, Pastoral Care, Human Resources, Marketing, Risk, Practice Management, Women's Health, West/South, ACCESS, Business Services, Accounting, and Purchasing.

Over the years, our volunteers have provided ultrasound equipment for Women's Health, Lift equipment for physical therapy, the security system for the Emergency Room, patient beds, bone density equipment, ongiong supplies for the newborn hearing screening program, and educational software.

Volunteering is not only satisfying, but convenient.  In many areas, they can work around their own schedule. A typical work week for a volunteer is a 4-hour shift in the morning or afternoon once a week.  For those 14 and over, the Auxiliary also has a Volun-Teen program.
