Construction Progresses in Grove

Although weather caused major problems with heavy and consistent rain hampering operations, other operations are ahead of schedule and it is still estimated that the new hospital will finish on time, in December of this year.

All storm and sewer projects are complete and the outbuilding area is now ready for framing.

Site grading is 98% complete, utilities are 90% complete, and the following are in process: steel detailing exterior framing, masonry, roofing, interior framing and renovations of the Ambulatory Care Center continues.

The new hospital will have 42 ALL PRIVATE MedSurg rooms, six ICU Rooms 12 private ER rooms, 10 Women’s Health rooms, 4 operating rooms, one Endoscopy rooms 12 all private Pre-Post-Op Rooms and five recovery bays.

Other enhancements will include Electronic Documentation and Automated medication dispensing system targeting patient safety and operational efficiency and an enhanced hearth catheterization lab.

The INTEGRIS Grove General Hospital Foundation is very close to meeting the goal for their $5 million capital campaign to help build the new hospital.
