Each year Voluntary Hospitals of America, Inc., a national health care alliance based in Irving, Texas, recognizes hospitals that meet or exceed national performance standards with the Leadership Award for Clinical Excellence.In order to qualify for the award, hospitals must achieve at east 90% compliance with standards guidelines in at least one of six categories.It is with great pleasure that INTEGRIS Grove General Hospital announces that it has received this prestigious honor for the second consecutive year.
Although 264 hospitals throughout the country have received the award in one category, INTEGRIS Grove General Hospital was one of only 20 hospitals nationwide to receive the Leadership Award for Clinical Excellence in three of the six categories - treatment for Heart Attack patients, prevention of Surgical Infection, and treatment for Congestive Heart Failure."This high level of performance affirms INTEGRIS Grove's efforts and commitment to excellence," explains Dana Chouteau, RN, MSN, FACHE, Assistant Administrator of Quality Management.
