INTEGRIS Clinton Regional Hospital recently installed a state of the art 16-slice computerized tomography (CT) scanner.  This CT Scanner is the only one of its kind in western Oklahoma.  This new technology replaces a single CT Scanner that was previously in use.

The 16-slice scanner now allows technologists at INTEGRIS Clinton Regional Hospital to scan much faster and gain more detailed images than with previous technology.  The new multi-slice technology can obtain up to 16 images in as fast as 0.5 seconds.  These images can be processed in different body planes and in three-dimensional views without any additional radiation exposure to the patient.
