INTEGRIS Quality > Clinton Regional Hospital Quality
The 30-day Death (Mortality) Rates are produced by CMS, the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services. These results are based on national Medicare data, utilizing Medicare claims from July 2005 through June 2008 for patients age 65 and older. The statistical model used takes into account medical care received during the year prior to each patient's admission. The results include patient deaths for any cause within 30 days of hospital admission for heart attack, whether the patients die while still in the hospital or after discharge.
