Acute Myocardial Infarction Measures

INTEGRIS Canadian Valley Regional Hospital (ICVRH) is continuously working to improve the care of patients who suffer from heart attack or Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI).

In December 2005, ICVRH instituted the use of order sets to ensure that our medical and nursing staffs have an opportunity to utilize the latest evidenced-based protocols for the treatment of heart attack. Prior to the use of order sets, there was much variability among the medical staff in how heart attacks were managed. The heart attack order set provides structure and consistency to the management of cardiac patients.

ICVRH has the expectation that each patient who is placed in our care receives the highest quality medical care that can be offered.
