Yukon Chamber Board Member, Amanda Miller, presents the T.J. Lowrey Humanitarian Award to hospital physician, Michael J. Davoli, M.D.
The Yukon Chamber of Commerce recently honored orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Michael J. Davoli with the prestigious T.J. Lowrey - Humanitarian of the Year award at their Annual Recognition Banquet celebrating “Mardi Gras Madness”. In honor of long time Yukon physician T. J. Lowrey, this award is presented each year to a member of the medical profession that exhibits dedication to his/her patients, dedication to the medical profession, and a commitment to the community. Joining the medical staff at INTEGRIS Canadian Valley in September 2005, Dr. Davoli quickly became acclimated to both the hospital and Yukon/Mustang communities. He and his family are members of the St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church and he serves on the board of directors for the Central OK Ballet – in which he served as a cast member of the Nutcracker in 2007. To date, Dr. Davoli has performed over 1200 procedures at INTEGRIS Canadian Valley and has established quite a following of patients – many continue to travel as far as Kingfisher, Grady, and Custer counties to receive his great care! As this year’s recipient, Dr. Davoli is described by his patients as caring, compassionate, kind, and wonderful.
These statements reveal that Dr. Davoli is an amazing surgeon but also an amazing physician dedicated to the health and wellbeing of his patients.
