Physician of the Year Announced at ICVH

Hospital Governing Board Chairman Ray Wright presents PHYSICIAN OF THE YEAR Award to Dr. Stephanie Taylor along side hospital president James D. Moore.

Nominations were collected, votes were tallied, and the employees of INTEGRIS Canadian Valley selected general surgeon, Dr. Stephanie Taylor, as their 2008 Physician of the Year.

Dr. Taylor received her undergraduate degree from Southern Nazarene University, her medical degree from OU in 2001, and completed her residency and fellowship at OU Health Sciences Center in 2007. Since joining the medical staff at INTEGRIS Canadian Valley in July of 2007, Dr. Taylor has performed over 480 surgical procedures, had 470 clinic visits and 131 hospital visits – very impressive statistics for just 18 months of employment with the hospital.

Her compassion, kindness and excellent patient care speaks volumes about her passion and dedication to the health care profession. It’s through this kindness and passion that the hospital received a sizeable donation of leather recliners for the Medical/Surgical unit from a very “grateful” patient.

Dr. Taylor is very active with the Canadian County Student Governing board and participates in several local 5K and 12K runs for various charity organizations. Stephanie, her husband Dave and two sons Drew and Cole, have made their home in the Mustang community and are quite often seen around and about at various community festivals and events.

We are very proud and honored to have Dr. Stephanie Taylor as our 2008 Physician of the Year!
