When you think of a career at INTEGRIS Health, think Total Compensation, the full value of the base pay, special pays (additional pay for other than day shift, on-call pay, holiday premium pay, etc.), the potential for incentive pay (patient-satisfaction bonus for non-management employees), and the indirect pay that you could receive - benefit options that are provided at no cost to employees, or through a very competitive cost-sharing arrangement.
We proudly boast one of the most generous pay and benefit packages of any hospital system in our state. In addition to our always competitive base pay, INTEGRIS helps to plan for a financially secure retirement by offering a Retirement Plan at no cost to employees, a Retirement Savings Plan where employees can save up to 30 percent of their pay and receive matching contributions from INTEGRIS, and by contributing to Social Security benefits on the behalf of employees. INTEGRIS helps employees and their families remain healthy by offering a variety of medical, dental, vision options, corporate assistance program, wellness program, tax-free flexible health-care and dependent care reimbursement accounts; and the peace of mind that comes with options for life, accident, and disability plans.
In total, INTEGRIS spent 44 percent of all operating expenses on providing pay and benefits to our employees last year, by far the largest single item in the costs of running our health care system. We obviously care deeply about the well being of our employees. We encourage you to read on and learn more about the Total Compensation program at INTEGRIS.
Health, Life and Disability Benefits We strive to provide flexible programs that allow our employees to choose benefits based on their personal needs and priorities. Our generous benefits package includes 4 medical coverage options for metro area employees (3 are offered at our rural facilities). Our PPO medical options include a disease-management program and a pharmacy management program to provide added value to our participants. Also included in our package are dental, vision, long-term disability, life insurance and personal accident insurance. INTEGRIS also provides employees with tax-free benefits dollars to help buy the benefits they want and the level of coverage they need. Employees pay for their portion of the benefits cost by tax-free payroll deductions.
INTEGRIS Health offers health care and dependent care reimbursement accounts, which enable employees to pay for certain health care and dependent care expenses with tax-free dollars.
Retirement Benefits A recent survey shows that INTEGRIS' retirement benefits are some of the best in the state. Our comprehensive retirement benefits help employees build a financially secure future. Through the INTEGRIS Retirement Savings Plan, participants can make tax-deferred contributions of up to 30 percent of their pay for eligible employees. For every dollar contributed, INTEGRIS will match $.50, up to 5 percent of employee contributions. Participants can choose from a full range of investment options and have full ownership in INTEGRIS Health's matching contributions after three years of service. (Employees always own their contributions and rollovers.)
In addition, employees who work at least 1,000 hours in a year automatically participate in the INTEGRIS Retirement Plan, a pension-type program. INTEGRIS makes all contributions, and credits employees with 3 percent pay (4 percent for employees) with 10 or more years of service to help build retirement savings. Full ownership in benefits occurs after 5 years of eligible service.
Employee Wellness Program Free to all employees, the Health Essentials Employee Wellness Program is designed to give employees the information and services they need to stay healthy. Employees who participate in the program earn credits to help to offset their benefit plan costs for the following year.
Paid Time Off INTEGRIS understands that time spent away from work is vital and helps us perform our jobs better. We provide employees a paid personal leave account to accumulate hours to use for paid time off from work. Employees use this time for vacations, holidays, illnesses or other personal needs. Additionally, employees accumulate hours in an extended illness bank to use when they are absent from work due to illness under certain conditions.
Corporate Assistance Program Sometimes personal issues can affect your professional life. Through the Corporate Assistance Program, employees and their family members can receive confidential counseling services to help them deal constructively with these issues. INTEGRIS pays the costs of counseling.
Tuition Assistance Program INTEGRIS encourages employees to continue their education, learn new skills and improve their current skills. Our Tuition Assistance Program eases the cost of continuing education by assisting with tuition costs for courses that relate to an employee's professional field or that improve skills necessary to perform his/her job. Additional reimbursements are available for certain direct-patient care courses. There is a one-year wait to be eligible for benefits.
Health Careers Education Assistance Programs Education assistance is available for INTEGRIS Health employees and non-employees who are interested in pursuing a career in Registered Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, or Radiologic Technology. In additional to financial assistance, the INTEGRIS Health Careers Consultant will assist program participants with:
-
Developing an academic plan that meets each participant's career goals.
-
Selecting and applying to an accredited program that meets the participant's professional and personal needs.
-
Ongoing academic consultation to assist with successful completion of education program and achieving licensure.
-
Identification of potential career and education opportunities at INTEGRIS.
-
Placement into career pathway positions.
-
Obtaining additional education support from other sources if necessary. Adoption Assistance Program Adopting a child is a happy event. However, legal fees and other expenses can be a heavy burden for new parents. To help ease those high costs, INTEGRIS offers an adoption assistance program that helps pay some of the costs of adoption.
