SMOKING SAFETY

Smoking is prohibited in the hospital. If you must smoke, ask a staff member to direct you to a designated area outside the hospital. Never smoke when oxygen is in use.

ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

All electrical appliances, such as hair dryers, electric razors or curlers, s must be inspected by the Maintenance Department personnel prior to being used in the hospital.

TELEPHONE

For local calls, dial 9 plus the number you desire. To make a long distance call (collect or credit card only), you must dial 9 and ”0" for collect calls or “1" for credit card calls. Family members and friends may reach your patient room directly by calling 540-7 + your 3-digit room number.

MAIL

Hospital Auxiliary members deliver mail to patient rooms. If mail is received after you have been discharged, a hospital volunteer will make sure that it is forwarded to you.

FLOWERS

All deliveries from florists are brought to the Auxiliary desk and distributed by a volunteer as soon as possible.

HOSPITAL VISITORS

Unlike many hospitals, INTEGRIS Baptist Regional offers flexible visiting hours. Visitation privileges are frequently extended to children accompanied by an adult, although we ask your cooperation in assisting in maintaining a quiet environment. Please check with your nurse and physician regarding visitation.

OVERNIGHT VISITORS

Under most circumstances, it isn’t necessary for family members to remain overnight with a patient. However, should the need arise, please notify the nursing staff.

VALUABLES

Please do not bring valuables, such as jewelry, watches or cash, during your hospital stay. INTEGRIS Baptist Regional Health Center cannot assume responsibility for loss of or damage to valuables or other personal items. To accommodate emergency situations, limited safekeeping facilities are available for valuables.

NOTARY PUBLIC

Notary public services are available to patients during normal business hours, Monday through Friday in Administration.

 INTERPRETERS

Patients and visitors who are more comfortable with a language other than English may request the services of an interpreter. Interpreters are available for many different languages and patients with special needs. Please ask our Hospital staff for assistance.

FOOD SERVICES

Patient Meals are served:

• Breakfast 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

• Lunch 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

• Dinner 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

*Late trays are served at all hours.

Visitors are invited to dine in the INTEGRIS Baptist Regional Health Center Cafeteria located on the first floor. Sandwiches, snacks and beverages are available during opened hours. Soft drinks and snacks are available 24 hours daily from the vending services located throughout the Hospital.

Cafeteria Hours of Operation: (Monday through Sunday)

• Breakfast 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

• Lunch 10:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

• Dinner 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
