Heart Attack Readmission

INTEGRIS Quality > Baptist Regional Health Center Quality

The 30-day Readmission Rates are produced by CMS, the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services. These results are based on national Medicare data, utilizing Medicare claims from July 2005 through June 2008 for patients age 65 and older. The statistical model used takes into account medical care received during the year prior to each patient's admission.  The results include patient readmission for any cause within 30 days of hospital admission for heart attack.
