Jason R. Thompson has recently joined INTEGRIS Health as the new vice president of diversity. Since 1987 he has worked in the area of diversity and coordinated successful diversity and inclusion programs.

Most recently, Jason was the director for the Office of Diversity at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center. Where he coordinated a wide range of activities centered around diversity issues. Within his first 6 months in this position Jason wrote and obtained a $450,000 dollar grant to enhance the diversity recruitment efforts of the school.

Jason has lectured and provided training in the area of diversity and the delivery of culturally competent healthcare for local and regional organizations for more than 15 years. He has a bachelors and masters degree in sociology.

Jason comes from a very diverse background. Growing up in a military family he was born in Japan. At a young age his family moved to Wyoming where he spent all of his childhood. Jason spent the last 10 years in Colorado before moving to Oklahoma to join INTEGRIS Health. Jason, his two kids and wife have been enjoying their move to Oklahoma, and their orientation to a new city.
