In 2005, INTEGRIS Health’s employee profile mirrored Oklahoma’s population with a difference of less than two percent with regards to the Hispanic, Asian, Black and White populations. There is only a slight difference of 5.8 percent among Oklahoma’s Native American population and those Native Americans employed by INTEGRIS Health.
When comparing patient/customers coming to our facilities for their care and those providing that care, the difference in each case is less than 3.0 percent. In fact, the percent of INTEGRIS Asian employees is greater than the overall percent of our Asian patients.
The opportunity that lies ahead is a journey that seeks to improve the diversity profiles of our many boards, officials/managers, and professionals through awareness, education, employee development and thoughtful planning.
