Non-cash charitable contributions, also called "gifts-in-kind," are items and products donated for the use of INTEGRIS facilities and its patients. Donated items require approval of the receiving department supervisor before they are accepted.
Non-cash charitable contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by IRS law. For taxpayers whose deduction of non-cash gifts is more than $500, the IRS requires the donor to submit Form 8283 -- Noncash Charitable Contributions. You may access this form by clicking here. Part IV of this form is a "Donee Acknowledgment" section which confirms that the charitable organization received the donated item. Completed forms may be mailed to the INTEGRIS Foundations office for this confirmation.
