Two INTEGRIS physicians honored by the Oklahoma State Medical Association

"Gordon H. Deckert, MD OSMA Award for Community Services"
Dr. Murali Krishna won the OSMA Gordon Deckert, MD Award for Community Services. This award is presented annually to an Oklahoma physician who has made significant contributions to the medical community outside the scope of his or her current medical practice. The Award recognizes physicians for reaching Oklahomans through actions and activities that improve the overall health and well being of our citizens and have demonstrated a positive impact on both physicians and the patients they serve.


"2008 Ed Calhoon, MD, Leadership in Medicine Award"
Dr. Jay Cannon won the 2008 Ed Calhoon, MD, Leadership in Medicine Award. This award, established by the Board of Trustees in 2001, is presented annually to an OSMA member physician “in recognition of his or her distinguished leadership and service to organized medicine at the county, state, or national level”.

The awards were presented at the OSMA annual meeting at the Tulsa Renaissance Hotel in Tulsa, Oklahoma, April 11, 2008.
